北京朝陽區一個早點攤擋，隨處也可以看到檔販用來做包點的肉餡，記者發現，肉餡內有一些很韌的東西，追查之下，發現他們是由一個肉餡工場入貨的，那些肉餡原來是用紙皮箱製成，他們先把紙皮箱浸軟，再用刀切碎，加入肥豬肉及一些豬肉香精，就變成肉餡。工場負責人表示，那些肉餡蒸熟後，不容易察覺有問題。

北京工商局執法人員在接到舉報後，已經取締這個工場。

A new satellite image appears to have captured China's new ballistic missile submarine. Coordinates: 38°49'4.40"N, 121°29'39.82"E.

A commercial satellite image appears to have captured China's new nuclear ballistic missile submarine. The new class, known as the Jin-class or Type 094, is expected to replace the unsuccessful Xia-class (Type 092) of a single boat built in the early 1980s.

The new submarine was photographed by the commercial Quickbird satellite in late 2006 and the image is freely available on the Google Earth web site.

A Comparison of SSBN Dimensions

Two satellite images are now available (see figure below) that clearly show two missile submarines with different dimensions. One image from 2005 shows what is believed to be the Xia-class (Type 092) SSBN in drydock at the Jianggezhuang Submarine Base approximately 14 miles east of Qingdao. The submarine is approximately 390 feet (120 meters) long of which the missile compartment makes up roughly 80 feet (25 meters). Twelve missile launch tubes are clearly visible.

The second image from late 2006 shows what appears to be the new Jin-class (Type 094) SSBN moored at the Xiaopingdao Submarine Base south of Dalian, approximately 193 miles north of Qingdao. The Jin-class appears to be approximately 35 feet (10 meters) longer than the Xia-class SSBN, primarily due to an extended mid-section of approximately 115 feet (35 meters) that houses the missile launch tubes and part of the reactor compartment.

These two commercial satellite images of the old Xia-class SSBN (top) and the new Jin-class SSBN show the different major compartments. The Jin-class appears to be approximately 35 feet (10 meters) longer with an extended missile compartment. Both images view the submarines from a "eye-altitude" of approximately 500 feet (152 meters).

The extended missile compartment of the Jin-class seems seems intended to accommodate the Julang-2 sea-launched ballistic missile, which is larger than the Julang-1 deployed on the Xia-class. Part of the extension may also be related to the size of the reactor compartment. The U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence estimated in 2004 that the Jin-class, like the Xia-class, will have 12 missiles launch tubes (see figure below). Other non-governmental sources frequently claim the submarine will have 16 tubes. The satellite image is not of high enough resolution to show the hatches to the missile launch tubes.

The U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence estimated in December 2006 that China might build five Jin-class SSBNs. The estimate has been widely cited by non-governmental institutes and some news media as a fact, but the Pentagon's annual report on China's military forces from May 2007 did not repeat the estimate.

在中国现代史上，七七事变不仅与当时亿万同胞命运攸关，更影响了此后数代人的生活历程。对于绝大多数中国人而言，卢沟桥的枪声开启了他们长达八年的噩梦。所幸者最终时来运转，侵略者被赶出中国。

然而，抗战胜利到底主要归功于谁，海峡两岸至今各执一词。其实，1945年9月初日本政府签字投降时，这个问题已有定论。以蒋介石为首的国民党坚持抗战，国军奋勇杀敌，厥功至伟，事实俱在，有目共睹。可是，心怀叵测又长于文宣的毛蛊惑人心，不仅于两党协议合作抗日时期，百般诋毁`肆意攻击友党友军，更于内战得胜上台执政后全面篡改历史，隐瞒对日作战真相。致使大陆民众备受蒙蔽，近半世纪来咸以毛为民族救星，抗战领袖。有鉴于此，必须拨乱反正，‘把被颠倒的历史再颠倒过来’（借用文革流行用语）。其中一个好办法，是剖析毛本人说的话，即以其人之道，还治其人之身。

向来喜欢放言无忌（他自称是‘有屁就放’）的这个‘马克思加秦始皇’，自60年代至70年代，多次接见来访的日本政要或富豪。这些东瀛客人无不为当年日本侵华道歉，但毛出语惊人地表示异议。例如，64年7月10日他接见日本社会党委员长佐佐木更三，回答对方的致歉时称：

没有什么抱歉。日本军国主义给中国带来了很大的利益，使中国人民夺取了政权，没有你们的皇军，我们不可能夺取政权。这一点，我和你们有不同的意见，我们两个人有矛盾。

据说语毕‘众笑，气氛轻松。’佐佐木马上说‘谢谢’。

其后，他与社会党议员黑田寿男`日中输出入组合理事长南乡三郎，以及日本首相田中角荣谈话时，都作过同样的表示。尤其接见田中是在72年9月25日，正当大陆与日本建交之际，故绝非普通应酬话。

此前的70年12月18日，毛与著名的美国记者`《西行漫记》作者斯诺的谈话中说：

那些日本人实在好，中国革命没有日本人帮忙是不行的。南乡三郎表示‘对不起，侵略你们。’我说：‘不，你们帮了大忙了。日本的军国主义和日本天皇。你占领大半个中国，中国人民全都起来跟你们作斗争，我们搞了一百万军队，占领了一亿人口的地方。这部都是你们帮的忙吗？’

由此看来，毛对侵华日寇毫无痛恨之意，反有感激之情。无疑这是他发自内心的真实想法。

显而易见，任何别的中国人要是讲了类似的话，必定会被斥为汉奸，陷于千夫所指的境地。借用鲁迅当年的话，如此大放厥词，‘有悖于现在中国人为人的道德’。但毛却我行我素，不以为耻，反以为荣，其原因何在呢？

首先，这是其笃信的列宁主义之精神使然。毛虽自诩为‘马克思加秦始皇’，其实对列宁主义更情有独钟。在第一次世界大战时期，列宁提出‘工人无祖国’的论点，要求布尔什维克党人应致力于使沙俄政府失败，以便其乘机上台。正因此，列宁被指为沙俄的交战国---德国的间谍。毛秉持列宁这一套，根本没把孙中山创建的中华民国当作祖国。

这一点，有李锐《庐山会议实录》为证。毛在59年庐山会议上，重翻彭德怀在抗战时期的旧账说：‘你彭德怀那不是爱国，百团大战是在帮国民党打日本人，爱的是蒋介石的国，那不是爱国！’‘抗日一来，蒋介石突然漂亮了。不知道这是暂时朋友，不久以后的敌人。’他还说：‘一些同志认为日本占地越少越好，后来才统一认识，让日本多占地，才爱国。否则便成爱蒋介石的国了。国中有国，蒋，日，我，三国志。’（207页）

他这么一讲，林彪马上检讨不迭说：‘平型关吃了亏，头脑发热，是弼时作的决定。’连平型关大捷也否定了，并把责任推给已去世的任弼时，从而讨得毛的欢心。

由此可见，毛认为自己跟当时绝大多数中国人分属不同国家。

其次，毛自比秦皇汉武，是真命天子，注定要进紫禁城坐龙庭。他‘高瞻远瞩，气概非凡’，与芸芸众生自然想的不一样。日本皇军是他异日登基的‘可借用力量 ’，绝非势不两立的寇仇。蒋介石才是不共戴天的死对头。虽说‘天无二日’，但他就是要在陕北再升起一个太阳向蒋示威，并且最终要把蒋这个太阳射下来。至于什么‘中国人的道德’，他是不屑一顾的。

76年6月，这位孤家寡人病重时说：

我一生干了两件事。一是与蒋介石斗了几十年，把他赶到那几个海岛上去了。抗战八年，把日本人请回老家去了。打进北京，总算进了紫禁城。对这件事持异议的人不多，。。。另一件，。。。就是发动文化大革命。这事拥护的人不多，反对的人不少。这两件事没有完。。。

在这段话里，毛将反蒋与抗战列为一件事，意味着‘打天下’。但对蒋用‘斗’，对日用‘请’。后者如此客气，又一次证明他确实从不敌视皇军。当年的七七事变，对其时蛰伏陕北‘勉从窑洞暂栖身’的毛，成了他迈向金銮宝殿的最好契机。

日本投降前夕的1945年8月13日，毛在一篇著名的讲话中说：抗战胜利的果实应该属于‘我们解放区的人民’。‘至于蒋介石呢，他消极抗战，积极反共，是人民抗战的绊脚石。’（《毛泽东选集》1128-1129页）这段话曾经广为人知。实际上不值一驳。试问，‘八年抗战’中，毛不是一直躲在远离前线的延安吗？被毛指为‘消极抗战’的蒋，反而多次亲临火线视察。而国军300个师则一直抗击日寇。对此，胡锦涛在2005年9月3日的讲话中公开承认：‘以国民党军队为主体的正面战场，组织了一系列大仗，特别是全国抗战初期的淞沪`忻口`徐州`武汉等战役，给日军以沉重打击。’

颇具讽刺意味的是，胡继称‘平型关大捷打破了‘日军不可战胜’的神话，百团大战振奋了全国军民争取抗战胜利的信心。’然而，毛不仅在1940年就指责了百团大战，59年再予彻底否定；以致‘平型关大捷’的一号功臣林彪也赶忙认错。在毛领导下的‘我们解放区的人民’（准确地说是八路军）最辉煌的两项战绩，都是根本违背‘人民领袖’意旨的。以此观之，毛岂曾真心抗日？这样一来，胡紧接着说的：‘敌后战场钳制和歼灭日军大量兵力，歼灭大部份伪军，逐渐成为中国人民抗日战争的主战场。’也就难以令人置信了。

最后借用大陆‘抗战史专家’张宏志的话：‘历史是客观造就的，人工是不可逆塑的。我们的责任就在于把真实的历史告诉人民，尤其对抗战史要严肃认真，决不可“戏说”。’诚哉斯言！

去年，馬來西亞媒體指控台灣人吃嬰兒，事件在台灣喧嘩一時，事後證實是大陸藝術家進行的一項表演藝術，一場烏龍事件草草落幕。
這事件彷彿就像一道煙幕彈，更令人相信吃嬰兒是不可能存在的天方夜譚，是污衊中國人的惡意中傷。然而，本刊經過多日查訪，竟發現中國廣東就有不少老饕，把吃嬰兒當成冬令進補的食材。
他們透過管道，購入墮胎的死嬰，甚至足月的活胎，再以中藥材燉煮成「嬰兒湯」，聲稱能壯陽、補氣。在官方一胎化政策的扭曲，以及中國人傳統的食補意識作祟下，這項令人髮指的罪行，竟已經存在二十多年！

年初，在東莞的台灣街，遇到一位從事皮革加工的李姓台商。閒談間他說，去年有一回到大陸朋友家吃飯，席間端出一大碗湯，對方直說：「很補，趁熱喝。」作客的李姓台商和另一位台灣朋友，喝了幾口，直稱「湯味鮮濃」。追問下，對方才告訴他那是「嬰兒湯」。
李姓台商還以為朋友在開玩笑，直到撈出「胎形」為證，兩位台灣人當場翻臉，拂袖而去。李姓台商說，後來才知道，部分廣東人把「嬰兒湯」當做珍貴的私房菜，只有至交才一起享用，偶而招待遠道而來的貴客。

在大陸的中藥房，只要花上人民幣7、80元就能買到曬乾後的胎盤「紫河車」。

由於胎嬰十分羸瘦，廣東老饕另外加入雞肉、排骨燉煮。

為進補　胎兒也入口
當時我們聽聽也就算了，直覺臭屁的台商到處都是。事實上，類似的事情在網路的留言板上也時有所聞，但也多被當做是網路謠言。後來又聽到多位人士提及，才不得不引起我們的重視。早就聽說，在廣東，人們什麼都吃，但連胎兒都吃，倒真令人匪夷所思。
不過，不管是宣稱自己吃過、或是聽說身邊的朋友吃過，對於細節，幾乎沒有人願意詳談；只要我們問到在哪裡吃過，大家就都三緘其口。
後來透過關係，接觸到王姓商人，調查才有進一步的進展。王姓商人在東莞經商多年，草根性濃厚，地方上的人際網絡三教九流。混熟了，他才親口證實自己曾被大陸友人招待喝過嬰兒湯，甚至表示有機會可以帶我們去見識一下。
在卡拉 OK 包廂裡，酒過三巡的王姓商人如數家珍地說，「嬰兒湯」中加入巴蘄、黨蔘、當歸、枸杞等大量中藥燉煮，很能壯陽、補氣，「以我六十二歲的年紀，每天都可以來一回。」王姓商人說著，當眾緊摟身旁十九歲的湖南二奶。
透過王姓商人的介紹，我們就這樣半信半疑地到廣東佛山市，找經營餐廳的黎師傅。儘管已經請王姓商人打過電話，但黎師傅對我們的態度依然十分防範。幾天後，再度拉著王姓商人一起去，才算打通關節。
黎師傅就是王姓商人上回被招待喝嬰兒湯的發起人兼主廚，黎師傅說自己第一次喝「嬰兒湯」是二十年前的事，當時接生婆私下墮胎的機會多，只要有健康的墮胎胎兒，接生婆就會找他一起進補，還騙他是貓肉。

續香火　溺殺女胎嬰
一九七九年大陸推行一胎化政策，規定城市居民只能生一個小孩，農村居民如果第一胎生的是女孩，則允許生第二胎，但要間隔四年才能再懷孕。多年來，為了生兒子溺殺女嬰的事件時有所聞，不過，胎兒成了老饕盤中佳餚，真是駭人聽聞。
四十歲的黎師傅言談間看起來可信，不過，他說現在查得嚴，要吃「嬰兒排骨」是可遇不可求了。由於吃嬰兒涉及法律問題，因此，每回黎師傅提到「吃嬰兒」，都以「吃排骨」代稱，以免招惹麻煩。
一九九九年十月一日起，中共實施「母嬰保健法」後，私下接生或墮胎的情形少了。母嬰保健法規定，不僅禁止以超音波判別胎兒性別，也全面取締非醫院內的墮胎、接生行為。
不過，由於重男輕女的觀念依舊，加上處罰十分嚴重，多生者將被處予人民幣三萬元（相當於新台幣十二萬元）的罰款，使得接生婆和殺嬰、販嬰事件在中國大陸各地，特別是農村地區依然屢禁不止。
為了滿足少數老饕的口腹，還是有一批業餘的仲介人，負責張羅嬰兒。黎師傅說，他們想喝嬰兒湯的時候，就會透過仲介人去找，事實上，這些人都是熟識的朋友，大部分是廣州各地的廚師和流動菜販，只要一聽說那裡有人要墮胎或提早引產，就會通知老饕們「提貨」，賺取三、五百元的紅包錢。
由於，農村多生情形嚴重，計畫生育官員查得緊，往往有一些懷胎七、八個月的婦女，無法掩飾體態，被發現後遭強制墮胎，部分胎屍被不肖者外流。黎師傅說，他們吃到的通常是七、八個月大的胎兒，言談之間，似乎吃嬰兒對他們來說稀鬆平常。

胎盤湯　竟是家常菜
在黎師傅處雖然沒辦法親眼證實「吃嬰兒」的傳聞，但我們卻意外發現，吃新鮮胎盤在中國大陸竟是一道家常菜。黎師傅說：「排骨雖然不好搞，但胎盤倒是容易得很，冰箱裡就有。」說著轉身從冰箱底層拿出一個層層包裹的塑膠袋，「今天剛剛送到，這東西不能冷凍，新鮮的好。」
由於胎盤煲湯要煮八個小時，黎師傅叫我們隔天再到餐廳去，要煲一鍋胎盤湯請我們喝。為了進一步追查，第二天中午來到餐廳，黎師傅領我們進廚房後，只見他從冰箱拿出塑膠袋，掏出兩團血紅的胎盤肉塊處理。晚餐，黎師傅端上一盅中藥味四溢胎盤湯，只見席間的大陸朋友，唏哩呼嚕的喝下肚。問他們知道喝的是什麼湯時，司機阿明輕鬆地說：「知道啊，就是胎盤，家裡媽媽也會煲。」
新鮮胎盤湯在大陸是一道家常菜，父母常以此為孩子進補。

鮮胎盤　熟門路訂貨
回東莞後，跟大陸朋友提起在佛山喝胎盤湯的事，朋友以為我們喜歡，不慌不忙地說：「你要的話，明天再幫你搞一個；不過這東西不能多吃，吃多了會胖。」
隔天下午，朋友就熱心地打電話給我：「東西找到了，不過要再等一等，就快生了。」掛上電話，真的有點哭笑不得，沒想到胎盤竟是這樣「訂貨」的。果真一個鐘頭後，朋友就把新鮮的胎盤送上門了。
大陸朋友一副「我辦事你放心」的神情說，只要有熟人在醫院做事，要拿到新鮮的胎盤並不難。通常，他們都習慣給個人民幣幾十元到上百元的紅包，算是給送胎盤來的人「沾沾喜氣」。
拿著一個血紅的新鮮胎盤，真不知如何是好，於是連絡阿明，麻煩他帶回家請媽媽幫忙煲湯。到了阿明家才知道，當地婦女常會煲胎盤湯給家人喝，幾乎是家家戶戶的家常菜。事實上喝胎盤湯的，並不侷限在廣東一地，誤以為我們喜歡而幫忙張羅胎盤的朋友，家裡請的湖南、四川、雲南員工，也都說小時候媽媽會在冬天做這道胎盤湯。
阿明說，廣東一般餐廳的菜單上並沒有這道菜，不過，如果跟廚師熟識，大概花個人民幣兩百元，就可央請廚師做胎盤湯。
食補壯陽功效的迷信，讓人泯滅了人性。

催生兒　性別定生死
隔兩天，黎師傅居然間接連絡我們，說最近有對從外地來打工的夫妻，現在已經懷孕八個多月了，由於前兩胎都是女生，再過幾天準備灌鹽水催生，如果又是生女兒，「到時候就可以吃了。」黎師傅說來輕鬆，我們卻聽得手腳發軟，連忙堅調查採訪了近半個月，有關吃胎兒的傳言，真相已隱隱若現。相關的旁證言之鑿鑿，但沒親眼目睹；說給別人聽，也都半信半疑。事實上，這時大家的心情都十分沉重，真希望真相就此打住，因為內心深處實在不能接受真有如此滅絕人性的情事。
「不幸」的是，幾天後就接到王姓商人的電話，說「東西找到了，天氣冷，有一群大陸朋友正想進補。」得到消息，我們內心十分掙扎，但為了把這個沒有人性的真相公諸於世，控訴一直存在於中國社會的這項事實，決定要求王姓商人帶我們去。
王姓商人說，他會想辦法帶我們去。王姓商人顯然沒有事先告知掌廚的高師傅，看到有不速之客，高師傅顯得有些緊張，一再交待：「就你們幾個知道，不要說出去，會出事的。」我們編說是上海公司的秘書，董事長對嬰兒湯進補有興趣，叫我們先來探路，並拍照回去給他們看。
跟胎盤湯的作法一樣，嬰兒湯也加入類似的中藥材、雞肉、排骨和白酒，慢火燉煮八個小時。五十多歲的高師傅每年冬天都和朋友一起吃一、兩次嬰兒湯，「上菜」時，他竟還有點歉意地說：「六個多月，有點小。」
儘管高師傅不斷遊說，但說什麼我們也沒有勇氣嘗試。當高師傅從暗褐色的湯汁中撈出胎兒時，同行的女性友人早已忍不住胸口湧現的噁心與憤怒，衝出戶外去了。
六個月大的女嬰，是高師傅託朋友到鄉下找來的，高師傅不願透露蒐購的價格，只說胎兒價碼是依據月份大小、死胎或活胎而定。禁不住我們一再追問，王姓商人表示，這次作東的大陸友人付了人民幣三千五百元。

胎嬰的清洗、燉煮，令人不忍卒睹。

一胎化　見幽暗人性
據了解，流產或墮胎的死胎，仲介人就包給產婆幾百塊不等的紅包。若是接近足月引產的活胎，則要付給小孩父母人民幣一、兩千元，當作是收養小孩的紅包。不過，當胎兒交到老饕手中時，都已死亡，仲介人會加收一、兩百元的「處理費」。
北京當局推行「一胎化」政策多年，衍生出來的社會、人權問題不少，但吃胎兒，應該是其中人性最幽暗、最不堪的一角了。
至於，為什麼廣東會出現吃胎兒的歪風，相關人士都說不出所以然來。高師傅也不甚了然，他說，大概是先有吃胎盤進補的習慣，爾後有少部分的老饕把胎盤連著胎兒一起吃，認為如此會更補吧！他哪裡知道，吃嬰這種令人髮指的行為，其泯滅人性的程度，豈能用任何理由交代。
很難估計，二十年來廣東一帶到底有多少老饕吃過胎兒，我們也不清楚在當局嚴格管制後，目前還有多少人吃胎兒。但經濟的發展，似乎並沒有相對地提高人性的良知，「人的價值」、「生命的尊嚴」，依然淹沒在廣東街頭喧囂的車流、人群中。

Why the hell are we using products made in China to make dog food in America? This is wrong! This is being done only because such products are cheaper and of lower quality than products made in the United States! This should stop immediately!

I urge all Americans to begin a boycott of products made in China immediately. The discovery of rat poison in pet food in America made from ingredients that originated in China is one more reason we should boycott all products made in China which use cheap, slave-wage labor and do not have the high standards of products made in America. This may also explain why in recent years cases of lymphoma in dogs and cats have skyrocketed! In China usage of insecticides, herbicides and poisonous chemical substances in not regulated like in the United States, so harmful chemicals may be in pet foods causing cancer and other illness. Hence the rat poison in pet food may only be the tip of the iceburge!

The rat poisoned pet food has already killed many cats and dogs in America. In China they don't care because in China they mass murder dogs and even eat dogs! It is terrible that we do not regulate the production of dog and cat food in America. We should no longer permit the import of tainted products from China, be they tainted by rat poison or are produced through the exploitation of people!

Actually this is only the tip of the iceburg! The hurt and harm being done by using products made in China is astronomical in proportions. China is ruled by an inhumane communist dictatorship which exploits its people and by participating in unregulated trade with China we are participating in and enabling that exploitation. Now it has come back to hurt us in the gut by killing our pets in America -- by killing man's best friend!

I ask every patriotic American to stand with me and boycott China. Please visit Boycott China K-9 killers and join the movement to stop the killing of dogs in China, and the indirect killing of dogs in America by pet food that is poisoned with rat poison!

警方說，下午三時廿分左右，李登輝在成田機場出境大廳遭一名男子投擲兩個寶特瓶，瓶內裝有果汁。這名男子當場被警方逮捕，李登輝沒有受傷，按預定行程搭下午四點廿分的華航CI101班機返國。

警方已經查出，肇事的是卅四歲的中國大陸籍男子，名叫薛義，住在江東區，據說是從事工程師行業。警方表示，這名男子聲稱是因為不喜歡李登輝才對他丟瓶子。他夾雜在送行者的行列裡，在近距離內對李登輝丟寶特瓶，但是並未擊中李登輝本人，維安人員最初以為有人開槍，立刻進行維安態勢，李登輝夫人曾文惠一度還腳步不穩。

李登輝後來上了飛機，告訴隨行記者說：「沒事，沒事！」

李登輝這次訪日，本來定位為「學術與文化交流」，但是他決定參拜奉祀在靖國神社的兄長之後，讓訪日之行沾染濃郁的政治色彩。北京對李登輝參拜靖國神社提出批判，這名男子攻擊李登輝可能也與李登輝參拜靖國神社有關。

中国でのサファリパークに対して非難の声が上がっている。生きたままの牛や鳥を「エサ」としてトラに食べさせていることが「残酷だ」というのだ。J-CASTニュースでは中国のサファリパークの担当者を電話で直撃取材したところ、「動物ショーではなく、自然に戻すための訓練の一環だ」という反論が返ってきた。
トラを自然に戻すための訓練を行うのが目的

やり玉に挙げられているのは、いわゆるサファリパーク形式の動物園で、観光客はトラが生活する様子をバスから見物できる仕組みになっている。観光客の前で虎にエサをやる生々しい様子が2007年5月24日、フジテレビ系で放映され、波紋が広がっているのだ。番組では、トラックから降ろされた、生きたままの牛にトラが群がる様子や、バスの中から生きた鶏などをトラに食べさせる様子が映し出されている。また、これを見て歓声を上げる観光客の様子も確認できる。

こんな様子に対して、番組では、動物愛護団体の男性が「これはあまりに残酷で悲惨。ご覧なさい、かわいそうな動物を」と嘆く声を紹介、やや批判的に報じている。また、別の番組では「エサを見物客が購入している」と報じてもいる。

これを受けてネット上でも「見る人から見れば残酷ショーみたいなもんだろ」「北京オリンピックボイコットでＯＫだね」といった反響が広がっていた。

わざわざエサを生きたまま食べさせる目的は何なのだろうか。J-CASTニュースの中国人スタッフが、同園の担当者に話を聞いてみると、こんな答えが返ってきた。
「動物ショーが目的の施設ではありません。希少種であるトラの遺伝子を守るために保護し、自然に戻すための訓練を行うのが目的です。生きている動物をエサとして与えているのは訓練の一環で、死んだ動物を与えても訓練にはなりません」

「そのような質問にはお答えできません」

・芒果（マンゴー）：
青芒果用生石灰捂黄，使表皮看起来黄澄澄的，但吃起来却没有芒果味，也存在过量使用防腐剂的问题。

・柿子（かき）：

當選的100人來自全球27個國家，其中男性71人，女性29人。他們中包括英國女王伊麗莎白二世、德國總理默克爾、古巴國務委員會第一副主席勞爾‧卡斯特羅等，美國務卿賴斯等，但現任美國總統喬治‧布希被淘汰出名單外。

《時代》雜誌在其網站上的開篇寫到：「改變我們世界的人們，這裡有100名男性和女性，他們的權力、智慧或是高尚的品格正改變著世界。」百人榜按以下五個類別，請專家評選了各自領域的傑出人物：藝術家及娛樂界人士；科學家及思想家；領袖及革新者；建造者及品格高尚者；英雄及先行者。

　渥美清さん扮する寅さんが世に出たのは１９６８年１０月。テレビドラマでスタートした。だが翌年３月の最終回。寅さんはハブを捕まえて一山（ひとやま）当てようと奄美大島に渡りハブに噛（か）まれて死んでしまうから、さあ大変。テレビ局には抗議が殺到した。スクリーンで復活したのは同じ年の８月である。

Shocking news from Virginia Tech, where at least 21 are dead following a shooting rampage this morning. The gunman is dead, according to university police chief Wendell Flinchum, who said that some of the victims were shot in a classroom.

Some 20 students were killed at the campus' Norris Hall, home of Virginia Tech's electical engineering department, where shooting commenced at about 9:15 a.m. Two hours earlier, however, a 911 call came from West Ambler Johnston Hall, a dormitory some distance from Norris Hall. At least one person was killed there, with several injured.

MILAN, April 12 (Reuters) - Italian riot police clashed with hundreds of Chinese merchants in Milan on Thursday, after scuffles broke out over traffic controls in the city's busy Chinatown.

Officials said 14 police were injured and two cars were destroyed as protesters threw plastic bottles and rubbish bins at police armed with batons.

It was not clear how many protesters were injured but television footage showed several wounded.

Waving Chinese flags and placards reading "Stop violence and abuse against the Chinese community", at least 400 merchants and residents later staged a sit-in on the neighbourhood's main street, bringing traffic to a standstill.

"You just want to send away the Chinese population," one protester shouted at a police officer. "Where is Italy's humanity?"

Officials said the protest started when traffic police, who want to tighten control of commercial traffic in the area full of wholesale clothing stores, fined a driver and took away his licence because he was carrying merchant goods in a private car.

"It is not right for a violation of road regulations to cause this," Milan's mayor Letizia Moratti told a news conference. "This cannot be justified."

Protesters complained of police violence, with some saying one had been hit with the butt of a pistol. Milan's deputy mayor denied this.

Residents have repeatedly complained about the noise and traffic, urging city officials to find a more suitable location for the wholesale distributors.

The outburst sparked reaction from some political groups who called for tougher controls on immigration.

"We have seen the first real revolt by foreigners, if it continues they will do whatever they want ... and put into place the laws they want," outspoken right-wing Northern League senator Roberto Calderoli said in a statement.

Dear Representative Honda:

On January 31, 2007 you, along with six other Representatives, submitted House Resolution 121, which calls on the Japanese government to apologize for having forced young women to become sex slaves during World War II, to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. The import of Resolution 121 is identical to that of Resolution 759, which expired in committee last year.
On September 28, 2006, we sent the attached letter to all members of the House of Representatives. In it, we indicated that the accusations in Resolution 759 were exceedingly unjust and based on gross distortions of historical fact. Accordingly, we find it very difficult to comprehend your reasons for submitting this resolution.. We strongly urge you to withdraw it without delay.
If you choose not to withdraw Resolution 121, you must shoulder the burden of disproving historical fact as outlined in the aforementioned letter. The persons referred to as "comfort women" were prostitutes (a legal profession at the time) working in brothels; they were indisputably not coerced to engage in such activities by the Japanese military.
We would like to draw particular attention to excerpts from two official U.S. military records cited in our letter. The first is a report issued by the United States Office of War Information, Psychological Warfare Team Attached to U.S. Army Forces, India-Burma Theater, which states that "comfort girls" are nothing more than a prostitute or professional "camp follower", and the girls' average total monthly earnings were 1,500 yen, and 750 yen went to their master. (The monthly salary of a sergeant in the Japanese Army at the time was 30 yen; thus, the prostitutes made over 25 times more!)
The second can be found in depositions taken from three Korean civilian employees of the Japanese army, who stated the following: In the battle zones of the Pacific War, the Korean comfort women we met were all either volunteers, or women who had been sold by their parents. If the women had been victims of coercion, all the Koreans both young and old would have risen up in rage, and regardless of whatever retaliation, killed the Japanese (from Composite Report on Three Korean Civilians, List No. 78, dated 28 March 1945, "Special Question on Koreans" in the U.S. National Archives).
We also attach a research paper that describes the comfort women, and how misunderstandings about them originated in Japan and grew into an international problem of monumental proportions. It also discusses how the various nations involved in the Pacific War dealt with the sexual needs of their military personnel in battle zones. It is our fervent hope that you will read it and the other attachment, and, thus, arrive at an accurate understanding of the comfort women and their circumstances.
We appeal to your wisdom and sense of justice, as this is a matter of honor for us, as Japanese, and also affects the human rights of all concerned. We look forward to your reply.

Dear President Roh Moo-Hyun,
I am appalled to learn that the Korean Government is planning to introduce a policy on the hygienic control of dog meat. This will only pave a way towards a legal means of doing business for the illegal dog meat trade and greatly encourage the consumption of dog meat. I am genuinely distressed when I think of the devastating effect that this policy will have on countless loving Korean dogs and cats that are already dying in the millions every year. This is the result of the government's total failure to either close down the dog meat restaurants or educate the public about the fraudulent health claims responsible for the senseless and shameful slaughter of these animals.
Government officials have, by their own admission, acknowledged that this is an unpopular move and have admitted there is no consensus, and certainly no mandate from the Korean public to further legitimize the dog meat trade. Why the government should be seeking to appease a small minority of dog-eaters is therefore beyond anyone's comprehension. If the Korean government is truly committed - as it claims - to reduce animal abuse, then it should stop immediately all measures designed to legitimize dog meat consumption. Instead, it should incorporate all dogs and cats within the definition of "companion animals", and then do everything it can to strengthen and especially enforce the existing animal protection law. No-one will be fooled by the Korean government paying lip-service to the idea of animal protection whilst simultaneously attempting to legalize the vile trade in dog meat.
Dogs and cats are not a main source of food in Korea, like cows or chickens, few Koreans eat them for any reason other than for fraudulent health benefits. They have much more in common with bears and tigers who's body parts are also sold in another illegal and shameful industry. The dog meat trade is an industry based upon consumer fraud and cruelty to animals. It is your duty to protect both animals and consumers from this illegal industry by enforcing the law and educating the public.
As President, you have power to stop your government's unfortunate and ill-judged attempts to legalize the dog meat trade. Failure to do so will bring about the greatest shame yet upon your country and even more misery to millions of Korean animals.

【看中国报道】过了春节以来一直在湖北省岳父家探亲。
昨天2007年3月9日15点左右在湖北省崇阳县白义镇看到的一幕：

事情经过大致是这样：当时一辆牌号为鄂L8107警的警车在当地三叉路口拦查摩托车，后来才知道是当的镇上的交警队的。
一辆没有牌照的新摩托车被他们拦下来，事主姓汪(男)。
我当时就在现场。
当时这些警察没有出示任何证件，也没有什么处罚单，就将汪姓事主的摩托车强行拉走，被汪姓事主的一男两女朋友阻拦，这时出现了暴力：一个较胖的警察(无警号)将汪的一个女性朋友当场打倒在地，并骂骂咧咧。见朋友被打，汪姓事主及另一男朋友上前与这个警察交涉，这时其他三个警察上前与这个胖警察开始对这两个人进行殴打(见录像)。
据后来笔者向这几个事主问询时，得知这样的暴力事件警察打人事件是很正常的。
笔者对此只能抱以遗憾。
中共政府所谓的人民警察能在光天化日之下公然殴打老百姓完全是一副流氓形为，相信公安局(所)里挂有"坚持维护共产党执政"标语下的警察维护的共产党也根本是一个流氓政权。

How are Muslims perceived as a result of the 9/11 terrorist attacks? Do people associate Islam with terrorism more or less since September 11th? Muslim women with their head-coverings are on the frontlines since they stand out in the crowd. They must, therefore, be equiped with the proper knowledge of Islam as well as the knowledge of how they are perceived so they can respond to the many questions and comments they may face in their interaction with non-Muslims. This lecture serves as a tool to help in this great challenge as Dr. Lisa Killinger, an Amercian convert to Islam, shares her experiences with non-Muslims both before and after September 11th. She opens by telling her story of how she discovered Islam in 1979 on the Iowa State University campus. She then continues by echoing the question asked by her own mother upon her conversion, "What kind of woman would want to be a Muslim, afterall they are oppressed!" So Dr. Killinger debunks this myth by outling the status of women in pre-Islamic Arabia and how Islam liberated and dignified them by giving them rights which are still upheld to this day. Some of the rights she discusses in this talk: the right to vote, to inheritence, to divorce, to the use of birth control, to marriage to whomever is desired, and to an education. Nevertheless, the actions of some Muslims may speak to the contrary but, as the speaker reminds the audience, these actions must be distinguished from the teachings of the religion itself. All too often the cultural practices of a person get confused with the religious practices. The speaker also looks at the example of Aslamia: the first female physician in Islam, modesty and the head-covering common to all the Abrahamic faiths, the example of Khadijah, how to explain polygamy to others, Islamic prohibitions that benefit women, non-Muslim attitudes about hijab (head covering), and the role of Muslim women in a non-Muslim society. The lecture is concluded with Dr. Killinger sharing the results of a post-9/11 survey about non-Muslim perceptions of Muslim women.

Dear Representative Honda:
On January 31, 2007 you, along with six other Representatives, submitted House Resolution 121, which calls on the Japanese government to apologize for having forced young women to become sex slaves during World War II, to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. The import of Resolution 121 is identical to that of Resolution 759, which expired in committee last year.
On September 28, 2006, we sent the attached letter to all members of the House of Representatives. In it, we indicated that the accusations in Resolution 759 were exceedingly unjust and based on gross distortions of historical fact. Accordingly, we find it very difficult to comprehend your reasons for submitting this resolution.. We strongly urge you to withdraw it without delay.
If you choose not to withdraw Resolution 121, you must shoulder the burden of disproving historical fact as outlined in the aforementioned letter. The persons referred to as "comfort women" were prostitutes (a legal profession at the time) working in brothels; they were indisputably not coerced to engage in such activities by the Japanese military.
We would like to draw particular attention to excerpts from two official U.S. military records cited in our letter. The first is a report issued by the United States Office of War Information, Psychological Warfare Team Attached to U.S. Army Forces, India-Burma Theater, which states that "comfort girls" are nothing more than a prostitute or professional "camp follower", and the girls' average total monthly earnings were 1,500 yen, and 750 yen went to their master. (The monthly salary of a sergeant in the Japanese Army at the time was 30 yen; thus, the prostitutes made over 25 times more!)
The second can be found in depositions taken from three Korean civilian employees of the Japanese army, who stated the following: In the battle zones of the Pacific War, the Korean comfort women we met were all either volunteers, or women who had been sold by their parents. If the women had been victims of coercion, all the Koreans both young and old would have risen up in rage, and regardless of whatever retaliation, killed the Japanese (from Composite Report on Three Korean Civilians, List No. 78, dated 28 March 1945, "Special Question on Koreans" in the U.S. National Archives).
We also attach a research paper that describes the comfort women, and how misunderstandings about them originated in Japan and grew into an international problem of monumental proportions. It also discusses how the various nations involved in the Pacific War dealt with the sexual needs of their military personnel in battle zones. It is our fervent hope that you will read it and the other attachment, and, thus, arrive at an accurate understanding of the comfort women and their circumstances.
We appeal to your wisdom and sense of justice, as this is a matter of honor for us, as Japanese, and also affects the human rights of all concerned. We look forward to your reply.
